Ancient legends say: with a new month, comes a new challenge. Even though I made this up, I am truly challenging myself to sketch something DAILY. Inspired by and the Sketchember challenge, I'm gonna do my best to complete 1 sketch daily until December 31st 2019. Starting FEBRUARY!

Last month I told you guys I'd give freely 5 sketches monthly and already opened the slots, but only one was taken, so I'm trying to make things easier for you:

You can ask me for the sketch via comments! But I'll need you to send me references via note (if you don't sent right away I'll send a note asking for it). The first 4 who comment will get the 4 remaining slots!
I'll limit the timespan of requesting to February 27th (so I can make the sketch on the 28th). On March I'll post another journal with another 5 slots.
If you requested something already, you'll be put to a wait list if you request again. If the slots don't get taken by the end of the month, I'll give them to you IN ORDER OF REQUEST.

WHAT I WILL NOT DRAW (don't even ask): VIOLENCE, GORE, HARRASSMENT, BDSM.

Just for you to know - I do have a list of colored requests to finish. This challenge does NOT affect the progress of the request list. If you're one of the people who requested art last year, please send me a message or comment here so I can catch things up. Meanwhile I'll work on them based on what I already have. Hello, everybody!! How are things going??

  

I've seen a lot of drawing challenges since I started being more active on Instagram (@liswyntheelf, go follow PLEASE ). Many of them are "draw this in your style", some others are "10 years challenge" (this one is a renewed version of that 'kick my own ass' meme which is rather popular here on DeviantArt), I'm myself doing one OC challenge (which is in progress), but I've decided to do something a little bit more... introverted? No, I don't think this is the right word for it. Anyways, here's the deal. Inspired by daily paints and sketchember, I've decided to try and make daily sketches until December 31st, 2019.

Monthly, though, I'll ask you guys (via journal) to send me some ideas.

Edit: *sigh* Alright, no one was particularly ~enthusiastic~ with my idea and in participating - well that's understandable when you're the kind of person who wants free drawings even from people which they know nothing about SO I'M CHANGING UP A LITTLE BIT.

 

There will be 5 MONTHLY slots for 5 people. The FIRST 5 people that send me a note with a reference will get the slots. I said NOTE, not COMMENT. If you'd like me to sketch your OC, your cat, your mama or your omelette, send me references via link. I will answer EVERY SINGLE NOTE, even if you didn't catch the first slots.

There will NOT be a WAIT LIST. The list will reset every month and I will consider only the notes received from day 2 each month. Once the 5 slots get filled, the list will be cleared. I'll post a journal every 2nd day of every month to remind you of this.

As you might know (I hope you do), is a wonderful artist who takes digital art very seriously (as she surely should keep on doing). Recently she got her 5000th (I don't even know how to say this) watcher, and to celebrate, she decided to make a raffle with not one nor two but THREE WINNERS!!

*deep breath* Really, I have no words to say but I'm very touched i3i so I'll just try to thank you all, ok? Thank you so much for every comment, every awesome person I talked here you were very cool and gave me so much support that I can't even! <3 I think most important think of all for an artist is to see that people loves them work and I felt it with ya... it makes me truly happy and confident with what I make. My self steam was far to be good years later and end up earning money with art was definitely a huge change for my life as a person and as a freelancer/ digital artist. More than ever I really want to become a professional and improve my style, so thank you from the bottom of my h ), there you can find the instructions - ALSO, since I'm not a raffler and I don't really like this "follow-watch-comment" only to get free art, I think all of you guys should go and check her AH-MAH-ZING gallery!! She's really hard working and her art is breathtaking. Consider comissioning her, too, if you don't win her raffle, she deserves it!!

Update: 2019 is gonna rock!!

My college course is finally over. FINALLY! All I have to do now (besides the final version of my final paper) is wait for the graduation ceremony. THEN I'll be able to say I'm a GRADUATED IT PROFESSIONAL, YAY!!  

Anyhoo, let's get TO BUSINESS HERE.

Requests: Since this is FREE ARTWORK, be aware that I'll post a version to my gallery. This submission will be in low resolution, will have a watermark and that download will not be allowed. Also, if you're the owner of the character, you will be credited as the owner of the character. Otherwise, you'll be credited as the requester and the copyrights will be shown in the description (in case of fanart). One more thing>, I'll send the high resolution version without watermark to you via Sta.sh link through a note. Wherever you upload it, PLEASE CREDIT ME. I'm the artist and have rights on every piece I make, even a fanart.
IT'S ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF MY DRAWINGS, doesn't matter if it's a request, a trade, a collab or a commissioned work.

Also, for those who are waiting for my request delivery, I apologize for taking forever, 2018 was a rather busy year for me and all I got to draw were simple sketches and quick studies I got to do to steam off my gears a little bit. IMPORTANT INFO BELOW:

1. Complex backgrounds (landscapes, skylines, other motifs) are not included in the background price. The included background price is for simple, gradient ones, with small motifs such as stars, hearts, et cetera, usually on my heart's content. If you want a complex background, talk to me so I can work on a good price for both of us. I do NOT overlay my drawings on other drawings/googled images because of COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS and INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY INFRINGEMENTS.

2. The announced price is for a SINGLE CHARACTER ONLY. Couples cost 150 points more (with 'couple' I mean two characters in one drawing) and then it's 100 points per added chracter. So, if you order a commission of cartoon headshots of 3 characters, without background, it'd be 350 points for the first character, 150 for the second and 100 for the third, ending with an amount of 600 points.

Hey, I'd really love to commission you! What are the rules for requesting one?

Simple ones, actually! Read down below:

1. FANART: Be careful on what you ask. I'm commissioning only my EFFORT. I do not own any copyrighted characters and do not have the right of distributing in large scale. Every commission I do is a SINGLE ONE and I do NOT allow it to be sold as a print or re-sold in retail products.

2. PRINTS: If you wish to receive a print of your commissioned art in your house, be sure to be within BRAZILIAN BORDERS and the shipping will cost you real money (sorry). The printing, though, will be added a 20 point fee at the total amount. All prints are A4-size. 

3. CONTACT:  It's the key to everything. You can send me a note or an e-mail to ask for point commissions! The e-mail is luisadentelloesilva@gmail.com.

4. PAYMENT:  For now, I'm only accepting points. I usually ask my clients to pay me after the sketch is approved to be worked out. I don't mind sketching over and over again, but all sketches are send with a HUGE watermark on it (I've been fooled before). But to get the final product, you'll have to pay me first.
